Success Surrounds Success

By Healthy Wealthy nWise

Greg Reid, founder and CEO of Work Smart, Inc., is a Wish Entertainment partner. Wish Entertainment, Inc. produced the movie "Pass It On". Greg is also the author of "The Millionaire Mentor" and "The Millionaire Mentor Corporation".

"Millionaire Mentor" might sound like mentoring for millionaires, but it's actually a nickname given to Greg Reid by the inner city kids he mentors. They started calling him the "Millionaire Mentor" some time ago when he would drive up in his fancy car, and the name stuck with him.

Mentoring has been a passion for Greg for many years. Like any good parent, his encouraged him to go to college, but Greg decided not to even finish high school. He was in a hurry to get out into the real world, and he never looked back. In fact, after only a couple of years, he sent a copy of his W2 home to his parents to prove he could make $100,000 a year living his passion.

Greg Reid created the "Success Equation", which looks like P T x A(squared) = Success, where "P" stands for passion, "T" stands for talent, and "A" stands for association. He defines passion as the activity you'd do if money didn't matter, talent as your natural ability, and association as those with whom you spend most of your time.

Think about the five people with whom you spend most of your time. If they're wealthy and successful, you probably are, too. If not, there's a pretty good chance you won't be successful either. Association is very important, so seek out successful people in your field, and surround yourself with them.

Abraham Lincoln once said, "People are as happy as they make up their minds to be". Greg Reid took that message to heart. He lives his life as happy as he can, and he shares the happiness wealth through his "Always Good" website.

Mentors can be found everywhere in what Greg calls the reticular activator system. Reticular activator is a fancy way of saying "you notice what's on your mind". Women who are pregnant suddenly feel as if everyone they know is having a baby. Men who play golf notice others who play golf. It's not that everyone enjoys golf, of course. It's just that perhaps you never noticed golfers until you began playing the game yourself.

When you make up your mind to do something, your mentor will appear. Where there's a student, there's a teacher. Your teacher may come in the form of a book or CD, or that person may come in the form of your next door neighbor. Set your mind to something and keep your eyes open. Surround yourself with success!
