Creat Landing Pages To Capture Your Clients

By Mike Schwartz

After starting your home based business you'll need a way to reel in your potential clients. You can do this by creating a page so your prospects can start the viewing proccess. This first page is called a capture page.

This initial page is also called a landing page. This is of course called a landing page because they will click your link and land on that page. This page can also be referred to as a capture page because on the page there will be a simple form for them to fill out in order to get more information.

This first page is also a bit of a teaser because to get more info on your business they will have to fill in the form. But why would you have your prospects do this? Why not show them everything all at once?

The reason for this is so you will have their contact information before you allow them access to your site. This will serve two main purposes. The first is so you can contact them to give them any information they might want and answer their questions about your business.

This is a great thing and will give them confidence in the program if they can speak with a real person. It will really help those who are new to home businesses because they won't feel like they are looking at some lifeless automated business. Even though you are offering an online business the human touch is still very important.

The important thing about getting their contact info from your capture page is because while they are considering your opportunity your can send them periodic e-mails. Using auto responders is the way to do this. Once linked with your site this service will send periodic e-mails to your prospects.

How many they receive and how often they get them is up to you. The reason for doing this is because not everyone will join your business right away. People will think about it for a while and while they do they will continue to get your messages about your business.
