Now, most people rent movies at least a few times a month. Normally we will wait for the DVD rentals to hit the stores, in lieu of going to the theater. Here is a short list of some of most heavily rented DVD's in Oct. 2008.

He grew up in a brutal L.A. gang, which he eventually left. When When a chance meeting exposes his whereabouts to his old gang leader, he finds himself in great danger. He has no choice but to take a chance, and work with the gang to get a large supply of drugs into the country.
THE INCREDIBLE HULK: This movie tells the tale of Dr. Bruce Banner (Edward Norton), who has become the Incredible Hulk because of being hit by gamma rays. This movie tells of the marvel comic character the green Hulk. Stars include Edward Norton, Tim Roth, William hurt, Liv Tyler. Louis Leterrier directs this film. This movie would be considered a sci-fi/thriller.

THE HAPPENING: Elliot Moore (Mark Wahlberb), with his wife and many other frightened people are leaving Philadelphia by train. The northeastern U.S. has been thrown into chaos. People have been afflicted by some strange illness, and are killing themselves. Can we find an answer, or is this the end of man?
IRON MAN: Super stud, engineering expert, Tony Stark is captured by insurgent fighters in Afghanastan. They demand him to build weapons for the insurgent group. He was injured while he was being captured, and he has shrapnel lodged in his chest. To overcome his wound, and escape his captors, he develops a suit of armor, that makes him super strong. Iron Man, a new super hero has arrived.
SPEED RACER: A cartoon from the 90's gets real actors. Much like the movie The Flinstones, Speed Racer was a TV cartoon that was turned into a movie with real actors. Speed Racer is an ambitious young man who loves racing. His goal is to win The Crucible, a big race that had cost his brother his life. With odds against him, and everything at risk, he suprisingly teams up with his former adversary Racer X, so he can win, and keep his families racing business alive.
