Using Dating Tips So That You Can Have The Ultimate Date

By Chris Channing

Dating is a major part of our social lives. You meet someone you are interested in, you go somewhere, have fun, and repeat. Except, its not that simple. The repeat part isn't always guaranteed, especially if you do not mix well with the person you were dating. Everyone is different, so dating may not come as easily to some of us. Be prepared to go through some troubles, and have ups and downs with dating. There are some dating tips that will really help you have a successful date, even if the person and you do not like each other. Its worth it to try and keep your date interested.

First of all, don't talk unnecessarily. Rambling on and on about nothing at all is annoying and will definitely land you right back at home. Instead, ask your date questions that pertain to what is obvious. If he or she is wearing clothes that show a love for nature, or music, ask about what kind of music he or she likes, or if she or he has any pets. Simple questions can lead to something more, and before you know it, you will be on your 2nd or even 5th date.

Pretending to be someone you are not is another way that you will likely have a lame date. To have the best date on earth, just be who you are. Share things you have in common, but don't pretend to like something your date likes just for the sake of being the same.

Being rude to people in public is also another way to ruin your date. This is the most important dating tip you could ever receive, so listen well. Being loud, mean, and acting immature is not what impresses anyone. Try to be polite and ignore those who are rude to you. You don't want to mess up on your first date with someone and make them think that you always act this way.

Of course, small gifts don't hurt on a first date, or any date for that matter! A simple gesture of kindness is always polite and greatly appreciated. Just don't go overboard with jewelry or anything expensive. It might come off as pushy, desperate, or as if you just want to impress your date.

Last, just be yourself. Its clich, but your date will appreciate you more, and be more willing to go on another date. Acting carefree and like you have known this person for sometime is a great way to build up a trust and confidence with each other.
