Best New Search Engine On The Net

By Tyler JL Neill

Duoseek is a brand new powerfull search engine, and is very easy to use by all ages. The internet has grown at an astonishing rate, and as this is the information age we live in, it only makes sence that we need away to search for it. Thats where the search engines come into play, and duoseek is my favourite.

These systems enable the user to search the documents on the worldwide web and the USENET newsgroups. The most common way by which a search engine works is by sending out a spider which fetches as many documents as possible. Another program which is used is the indexer, which reads the documents and creates an index based on the words in each relevant document.

Each search engine uses a Proprietary algorithm to create certain indices such that only those results which are meaningful are returned for each query. The search engines such as www.duoseek.com offers you an extensive search for the desired topic, be it images, audio, news, sports or even any dictionary search or a type of a blog. It is user friendly, easy to manage and gets quick and refined results.

Most search engines make use of the Boolean operators AND, NOT, OR to specify the search query further. Some search engines also prove an advanced feature in search called proximity search which further allows the user to define the adequate distance between the desired set of keywords. The usefulness and the problem solving of the search engine depends on the relevance of the result set that it sends back to the user.

There may be a million web pages available which have the particular keyword, but it may not contain the desired information. Some pages are more relevant and popular than others. The search engines like duoseek.com employ various methods to rank the pages and to give the refiner result to the user. How the search engine decides that which is the best informative page, and what the order of the result in which it is presented is decided uniquely by each search engine.

The methods of how a search engine deems what to place of the top of its search listings, or what it shows as being relevant, are constantly changing in some way. What we get this week for a particualr keyword search as showing at the top of the listsing, may not be top of the search listings next week. This is all part of the ever changing world in which we live in/
