Lately, many of us get movie rentals at least a few times a month. More often than not we all wait to rent the box office hits, rather than going to the theater. Here is a short list of some of the highest volume rentals in October.
INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL: Indiana is back in action, after a 19 year hiatus. This is the fourth movie of the exploits of the infamous Indiana Jones. In this episode an older Indiana takes on the Russians. This time, it's off top the amazone to search for some South American relics, which are thought to have secret powers.
THE LAZARUS PROJECT: One time crook Ben Garvey is a changed man. With a beauitiful wife and daughter, and a job that pays the bills, he has found happiness. Then, he is fired from work, and he turns to crime for the solution. People die during an attempted robbery, and he is sentenced to death. He fully expects to be killed by lethal injection. To his surprise, he isn't dead, but is in a psychiatric ward. Now its all on the line, his sanity, and his spritual well being.
LINEWATCH: Michael Dixon (Cuba Gooding Jr.) is a respected boarder agent in New Mexico, and life seems to be good. Eventually, his past is going to catch up with him. A long time ago, he was in a violent Los Angeles gang, that he somehow got away from. When an unfortunate meeting gives away his location to his old gang, he and his family are put in grave danger. He nust put it all on the line, and work with the gang to bring a big drug shipment across the border.
THE INCREDIBLE HULK: This feature film tells a story about Military scientist Dr. Bruce Banner, who is now, due to a military accident, has become the Incredible Hulk. The movie is an epic tale of the marvel comic character the green Hulk. Edward Norton is the top star in this film. This film is directed by Louis Leterrier. The film style is sci-fi/action-thriller.
DECEPTION: Jonathan McQuarry, a bored and lonely corporate auditor, has a surprise meeting with hof shof lawyer Wyatt Bose. This is a meeting that will change his life. He is exposed to "The List", which offers involvement in a sexual pleasures. But, he is also led into a world of betrayal, treachery and death.
JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH: On a quest to find his missing brother, science professor Trevor Anderson goes on a mission that puts him on a journey to the center of earth. This is another version of the 1959 film, which was based on the classic work by celbrated writer Jules Verne. Directed by eric brevig, and starring Brendan Fraser.
THE HAPPENING: Science teacher Elliot Moore, along with his wife and some friends are leaving Philadelphia by train. Their city has been thrown into chaos. People have been overwhelmed by some strange illness, and are commiting suicide. Will mankind solve this dilemma, or are we approaching the finish of humans on Earth?
IRON MAN: Super stud, engineering expert, Tony Stark is taken hostage by Afghan fighters. He is ordered to create weapon systems for the insurgent group. He was injured during his capture, and he has shrapnel lodged in his chest. To overcome his wound, and escape his captors, he creates a suit made of armor, which protects and strengthens him. We now have another super hero, Iron Man.
SPEED RACER: A cartoon from the 90's is now a movie hit. Similar to the movie The Flinstones, Speed Racer was a TV cartoon that was turned into a feature film with actors. Speed Racer is a young man who loves racing. His goal is to win The Crucible, a major rally car race that had taken the life of his older brother. With the odds stacked against him, and his families business at stake, Speed Racer teams with his old rival Racer X, in an effort to capture the championship, and save the family business.
A different avenue for aquiring movies is movie downloads. You can find websites that have virtually every movie made downloaded. This is an easy way to increase your movie selections.
