You've Gotta' Check out Hulu

By Kasey Morton

I want to take a moment and tell you about my new favorite website. It's called Hulu.com. Quite simply, with Hulu you don't really need a television. You can watch many of your favorite shows and movies online.

Hulu is fairly new. NBC Universal and News Corp started it in the spring of 2007. Hulu states their mission as helping 'people find and enjoy the world's premium video content when, where and how they want it.' And they do it very well.

Hulu not only has 900 prime time hits immediately available the day after they air, but they also have the classics, movies and other popular TV shows. If you want to watch The Simpsons, or The A Team, or a clip from Saturday Night Live you canwhenever you want to.

I'm sure that you watch The Office. Everyone watches The Office. But let's say that you forget or miss it the night that it's on NBC. You don't need to remember to TiVo it anymore. Why? Because you can just go to Hulu.com and watch it. They have every episode of the show on there, ready to watch at your earliest convenience.

There's also a lot of really great movies. You can browse through their extensive listings and surely find something that you'd like to see.

You can watch most everything in HD format, meaning that everything looks really clean and clear.

I'll always catch the latest House, MD, or Kitchen Nightmares. I like to stay up on my politics and viewed the Presidential Debates there as well.

Do you ever get bored at work and need a little five minute break? Go to Hulu and check out one of their many comedy clips. You can catch lots of great moments from SNL.

I often will proclaim the brilliance of great missed shows like Arrested Development. Hulu enables me to watch each and every episode whenever I want.

Anyways, the next time your bored, check out this site. It's sure to offer a little entertainment to your day. And did I mention that it's free? Oh yeah.
